ICWF 2020: Mozart, Tchaikovsky, Bartok returns to Lviv, Ukraine with esteemed conducting teachers Larry Rachleff and Donald Schleicher and assisted by Benjamin Loeb, July 20-July 31, 2020. Susan Dunn will lead her Stage Presence classes.

ICWF 2019: Beethoven, Dvorak, Stravinsky

The International Conducting Workshop and Festival will hold ICWF 2019: Beethoven, Dvorak, Stravinsky from August 6 to 16, 2019 and will be led by Larry Rachleff and Donald Schleicher. Susan Dunn will offer her Stage Deportment classes. There will also be a performance of the music of Beethoven, Dvorak, and Stravinsky given by the faculty and guest artists.

ICWF 2019: Violin Concerto

ICWF 2019: Violin Concerto is a new workshop designed both for high level violinists who are ready to perform standard concerti with orchestra and conductors looking to hone the craft of accompanying violin soloists. Faculty for this workshop will be master violinists Krzysztof Wegrzyn, Michael Ludwig, John Holloway, Dylana Jenson, Solomiya Ivakhiv, Zhi-Jong Wang and conductors David Lockington and Benjamin Loeb. Violinists will play in master classes and rehearse and perform with full orchestra in concert. Six conductors will lead the concerts under the guidance of Loeb. Additionally, up to six violinists and two conductors will be invited to perform on the 2019-20 Lviv National Philharmonic Orchestra season.

ICWF 2018: Beethoven, Tchaikovsky, Berlioz

Lviv, Ukraine from July 27 to August 7 2018 with Larry Rachleff, Donald Schleicher, Taras Krysa, Susan Dunn. Five performances (orchestral, chamber) by faculty and guest artists. Public performances by participants from August 8-12, 2018.

ICWF 2017 Beethoven Part 1

The International Conducting Workshop and Festival will hold ICWF 2017: Beethoven part 1 from October 26 to 29 2017 in Dallas TX and will be led by Larry Rachleff. Susan Dunn will offer her Stage Deportment classes and violinist Michael Ludwig will hold a discussion on orchestra string playing and perform a recital. This short workshop will have six sessions with string quintet with piano.

ICWF 2011: Ann Arbor

From March 18-21, 2011 Gustav Meier will lead a unique workshop focusing on the techniques explored in his seminal text on the study of conducting: "The Score, the Orchestra, and the Conductor." Don Schleicher and Benjamin Loeb will also serve as faculty. Limited enrollment with tuition discounts for early applicants.
