Audition Video Information

Video uploaded online with a link provided is the preferred method of distribution.  DVD's will also be accepted.

The audition video or selection of videoclips should be an accurate representation of your conducting. Ideally, it should include at least three selections of contrasting styles. Each selection should be no longer than five minutes and may be as short as thirty seconds. Please order the selections with the strongest selection first. Selections do not need to start at the beginning of a piece or movement.

It is not mandatory that the applicant conduct a full orchestra - two pianos or string quintet with piano is acceptable. The audition video should be recorded so we see the front of the conductor, ideally from an angle and not straight on.

Clearly title your audition clips or DVD insert with your name, contact information and repertoire selections with the length for each selection. Audition videos will not be returned to the applicant. Please do not send valuable original footage.
